Not actually back... just messing around.

To any people that actually do check my site out in the vague hope that I do start posting comics, just know that this doesn't mean I am going to start again.

Do I have a few strips in various stages of completion? Yes.

Will I finish them? Not sure.

Anyway, I now have a brand new computer with CS3 on it, so I thought, "why not test it out?". This is in a slightly different style to my previous artwork, which was done in Illustrator. I am now drawing in Flash MX using a tablet (also new :P). I have to say it is definitely the better way to do these types of drawings & to get my comics to have the look & feel of my idol comic artist, Katharine Tiedrich.

So yeah, always wanted to do one of these as a funny pic for the guild. I hope they like it. :P

Unfortunate hiatus :(

This happened a while ago, but I thought the problem would have been fixed sooner than this (which is why I didn't explain this sooner).

After a good run of 3 years, my trusty Powerbook has karked it. The screen now no longer wants to work properly, which means no more Adobe Suite for me till I can get a new copy for my new iMac...

This means no more finished strips or pics till this is resolved... although I have gotten out my scanner & may just scan in rough sketches for the moment.

I have done this with what was to be my next piece (above) of Kaysha & Mazmo - two lovely trolls of Dath. I had promised their pic many months ago & my comp decided to die just before the outlining was complete in the professional pic... -.- /sigh

I know I was meant to be finishing off Kaysha & Mazmo's character pics, but after a comment was made about my sig-like "kittyface" ( >^..^< ), I felt inspired. :P

To go with the new border style, i've gone back to the first three comics I made & edited them to match. Due to laziness on my part, I didn't bother to add in a proper 2d background for comic #3, so it's stuck with the blurred-screenshot background... oh well. :P

Comic 4: "AFK"

Well, I am finally in Perth & settled, so I thought "why not celebrate by finally making another comic!" :O

As you can see from this comic, the move isn't the only change. I wanted to try a new way of representing the panels instead of a plain black border. This style gives me a lot more freedom to express. I will be going back to the first three comics & updating them to this style. :D

Character 6: "Kyler"

Well it's about time isn't it...

I've been so focused over the last month on organizing for my move in 2 weeks, that I just didn't have much time to focus on this. Anyway, enough excuses...

Presenting Kyler from the guild "Meddle", to fill my quota for the male Undead. Awesome mage who loves to pyroblast people from what i've heard... :D

Next up will be the female Troll. Have a guess who it's gonna be. :P

P.S. I do not know when the next will be put up as even though I may finish it soon, my internet will run out before I move. Also, before going to Perth I will be visiting my family in Vic and they don't have the internet at their homes to my knowledge. :S

Character 5: "Snafu"

What is it with me & month-long breaks between submissions? I dunno, but it's turning into a very bad habit.

Anywayz, here we go. A new pic.

Snafu is a friend of mine in "Fey Mercurial". I decided to draw him for the Draenei male quota as, due to his name he is constantly whispered for invites to the "Snafu" guild. Originally the comic was going to reflect this with him yelling something like, "I'm not IN F$@KING SNAFU!" or the like. :P

As soon as I saw this pose I just HAD to draw his pic using it though. I am very VERY pleased with how it's turned out and have to say it's probably the most serious pose i've done next to Kjord.

Also notice the different head style. This will be used for most of the male characters for an added diference to the female characters. Male gnomes are the only exception atm as their heads are so round that using this other head style just looked strange...

Character 4: "Dexi"

Again, completely on a tangent from who I was meant to be drawing (sorry Snafu)...

Presenting Dexi, from the guild "Blackwing". Dexi is basically the queen of the Khaz'Goroth forums - one of the servers from which people transferred to Dath. Many Ex-Khaz people who browsed those forums would definitely know of her.

Since we do sometimes have a chat, I told her i'd do a character pic for her a while back. So I thought i'd better finish it for her. :P

Character 3: "Taena"

Good night sleep & it's finally finished; the 3rd pic after 3 weeks of waiting...

I have to say this one has grown on me. I fell in love with the sketch I did of the felhunter & am VERY happy with how it turned out (though it did require some tweaking, ie: the teeth being added due to some people not being able to understand it... *cough*Tenaki*cough*).

Oh, so why is it so late? Well I now have 2 jobs, which is keeping me extremely busy while raking in the moolah :P. I also had my mum & sis visit me for a few days when I was planning on finishing this pic as well as my next comic...

OMG, 3 drawings within a week? i'm on fire atm!

Presenting Aislin (former GM of GCR & frequent forum troller) and Alurah (long-time priest of Fey Mercurial /hug :P).

Anywayz, why are there 2 people in this drawing? Well - as this is to fill the Female Night-Elf category - I had to choose who to draw, and I'd already sketched these two, so why let that go to waste? :P

Now i'd better get back to drawing the 3rd (which was meant to be the 2nd... Sorry Tae :P).

Ah, so what's this you ask?

Well, after the trouble designing the Tauren for Comic 3, i've decided to design what each race (male & female) would look like so I have a reference.

But I had the thought that while doing this I would choose some friends & well-known Dath forum members to draw. So here's the first of 20!

Presenting Kjord, mage of Novus Orsa & big-time poster on the Dath forums. I decided to draw him first as i've been wanting to draw a gnome for a long time. :D

Yay, I finally got this comic done, which means I can now call this a "series" instead of the lone comic hoping to be one. :P

Sorry for this comics lateness. I just got a bit bored when it came time to do the background (which, btw, took a bloody long time to do), then I started customising this site to look nice, THEN trying to design a logo (next thing I do), etc...

But now it's up, hope you guys enjoy it. I am hoping to have the next one done by the end of Sunday, so /crossesfingers. :P
